Academic Figure Painting

This 5-day workshop is an in-depth introduction to the fascinating world of academic drawing and painting. Using the draped figure as our subject, students will be introduced to the same academic principals, techniques and old-world art materials that I use in my own work. Space is limited.
Part - Time Painting Studio (Spring Session)

During this 10-week instructed studio session, students paint still-life and portraits, essential skills for any artist. Working in graphite, charcoal, and oil, students hone their observational skills and develop an understanding of value, colour, and form. The part-time studio sessions run for 10 weeks at a time, with a new session beginning every season.
